Aerospace, through a Customer Success lens.

An independent learning lab by Aaron Tudor, built in public with Claude. Two tracks: how maintenance software keeps aircraft flying, and how AI is reshaping the space industry.

How Customer Success keeps aircraft flying: a field guide to Veryon.

An independent study of Veryon’s aviation maintenance platform, the operators and MROs who rely on it, and the Customer Success motion that turns software into uptime. Built in public with Claude by Aaron Tudor, a customer-facing technical account manager.

Veryon AIRE: the AI layer across the suite

Launched in October 2025, AIRE adds conversational answers, predictive analytics and decision support inside Tracking, Diagnostics and Publications, drawing on Veryon’s de-identified maintenance history. For Customer Success, it changes the value story from “we store your records” to “we help you fix it right the first time.” About AIRE ↗

The Customer Success journey

How I’d run a book of Veryon customers, from first login to renewal. Veryon calls its own model the Fleet Performance Partnership, built into the core experience rather than sold as an add-on.

01

Onboard

Migrate records and libraries, map the customer’s fleet and workflows, and get technicians on mobile. Veryon runs monthly training webinars and product demos available on demand that a CSM can assign by role.

02

Adopt

Track active technicians, work orders closed in the app, and AI agent usage. Low logbook or work order activity is the earliest churn signal in a maintenance tracking product.

03

Prove value

Tie the platform to uptime: fewer repeat defects, faster troubleshooting, less time hunting manuals. Veryon cites an average 23% reduction in downtime cost; a CSM should rebuild that number from each customer’s own data.

04

Renew & expand

Expansion follows the maintenance lifecycle: Tracking customers into Defect Analysis and Publications, MROs into Work Center, safety teams into the newly acquired Polaris Aero tools.

What’s new

Recent moves that shape what customers ask their CSM about.
